• Alison Day (she/they) is a Teaching Fellow in the School of Information Management at Victoria University of Wellington, Aotearoa New Zealand. She has recently completed her PhD exploring the collecting, documenting and donating space with respect to Aotearoa New Zealand's queer communities, queer independent archives and GLAM institutions and universities. Alison has interests in the evolving field of queer metadata and description and was a member of the Queer Metadata Collective research group, which authored Best Practices for Queer Metadata.
