Alison Day (she/they) is a PhD student in the School of Information Management at Victoria University of Wellington, Aotearoa New Zealand. Her PhD research explores the collecting, documenting and donating space with respect to Aotearoa New Zealand’s queer communities, queer independent archives and GLAM institutions and universities. She has interests in the evolving field of queer metadata and description and was a member of the Queer Metadata Collective research group, which authored Best Practices for Queer Metadata.
