    She holds a PhD in Documentation from the University of Salamanca (2011), with European Mention. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship in the Graduate Program in Information Science at São Paulo State University (Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho – UNESP), Brazil. She is currently a lecturer in the Department of Information and Documentation Sciences and History of Science at the University of Zaragoza. Her teaching experience includes positions as a substitute lecturer at the University of Salamanca (2023–2024), visiting professor at UNESP (2014–2024), and associate professor at the University of Havana (2005–2016). She is a member of the research group "Information, Library and Documentary Heritage" at the University of Salamanca and serves as a foreign collaborator for Brazil's National Council for Scientific and Technological Development. Her research and teaching interests focus on the representation and access to archival information, descriptive standards, digital preservation, and the management of electronic records in academic and professional contexts.
