    Inkyung Choi is an associate research scientist at OCLC Research, specializing in data science, metadata research. Dr. Choi earned her PhD in Information Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, an MLIS from Syracuse University, and currently serves on the DCMI education committee. Her work has been published in JASIST, Journal of Documentation, Knowledge Organization Journal. In her current role as an associate research scientist for OCLC Research, employing diverse data analytics techniques, she aims to facilitate more nuanced mappings between vocabularies based on digital content descriptions, with the goal of addressing specific challenges in the field. Moreover, she focuses on embedding contextual references within classification systems. By enhancing comprehension of contexts, this approach improves information retrieval and advances the field of knowledge organization and metadata management.
